Dr. Rachel Ehring

Conservatory Director

As a collaborative pianist, Rachel has performed around the United States and on 5 continents. She brings to the Conservatory a love of music and collaboration as well as a love for church music. Prior to her role at St. John’s, Rachel served as staff accompanist at Concordia University Irvine where she accompanied singers, instrumentalists, and ensembles and taught chamber music and accompanying. Rachel earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in collaborative piano from the University of Colorado Boulder and has degrees from the University of Kansas and Moody Bible Institute.  Rachel is passionate about excellence in music education and is dedicated to making the Conservatory a place where students are nurtured in their creativity, spirituality, and musicianship.
