5 Habits of the Tech-Ready Family
PARENTING CLASS
In a digital world, navigating screen time, devices, and online safety can feel overwhelming for any parent. Join us for a practical, encouraging series designed to give you hope and actionable tools to foster deep connection, prevent harm, and help your children grow into wise navigators of technology.
Rooted in practical habits and Biblical wisdom, this series draws from the insights of author Chris McKenna to help you build a stronger, healthier, and more connected family.
Wednesdays 6:45 – 7:45pm
September 16 – October 14
We'll Cover 5 Foundational Habits:
- Model the Right Behaviors – Kids learn more from what we do than what we say.
- Pursue Authentic Connection – Build real relationships through meaningful time and conversations.
- Encourage Work and Play – Help kids develop purpose, responsibility, and a healthy balance.
- Delay Additive Technologies – Wait as long as you can before giving kids devices that can addict.
- Diligently Prevent Harm – Be proactive in setting safeguards and staying informed.
Hosted By:
Jim Meyer – Director of Family Ministry
Katie Todd – 2nd Grade Teacher
Whether you are looking to reset your household's current tech habits or proactively prepare for the years ahead, this series will give you the community and strategies you need. We look forward to seeing you there!
